The First Glen Rieske Open at Markham Park

The Glen Rieske Open

March 5th and 6th, 2005

Glen Rieske lines up for his second shot at Low 8 during the Geraci Hunters Open , held at Polk County Skeet  in Winter Haven, Florida

 RESULTS:

12 gauge Gun Champ Steve Sagal was a man on fire. His 98 was a personal best, high for the gauge and the second highest score of the entire match. Congrat's to Steve on his banner day!  Chuck Farnham managed a win with a 97 in the 20 gauge, just ahead of David Alexandrich's 96. Chuck also managed to capture the 28 gauge title with a match high 99, and was runner up in the .410.  Those are numbers we used to see from Chuck every month, and this month he captured the HOA and HAA titles. Congrats to Chuck on a fine effort. Mark O'Mara mangaged gun champ in the .410 and runner up in HOA and HAA.  Click on the links below to view the entire results in PDF format.

Markham Skeet hosted the Glen Rieske Open March 5-6th, 2005 at Markham Park. Glen is a tireless volunteer, who has contributed countless hours to operating the shoots at Markham. A long time skeet shooter, Glen was out of skeet for several years and rejoined the sport in 2002 at Markham Park. Glen became co-chairman of the Skeet Operation in August of 2003.

Each multi-gun registered shooter at this event was presented with an NSSA logo baseball cap.  This was a rerun of our popular shoot last year where the hats were offered. In addition, Mr. and Mrs. Rieske arranged for a lunch of Uncle Al's wings.

Todd Reeves began to train as shoot staff, and we look forward to his efforts at future shoots.
