S&H SYSTEMS SHOOT RESULTS
Low Turnout a Mystery..."D-Lee and A-Will" Steal Show! The 2009 S&H Systems Shoot was the smallest ever with less than a dozen names on the registration list. With a target count of only 3850, this shoot was only slightly larger than the October shoot when we threw only 3700 in competition with The World Shoot and some hunting trips. Weather was not a factor as it was certainly tolerable and not really adverse at all. Many gifts and prizes were awarded from the accumulated awards from prior shoots, so those in attendance carried home a lot for their efforts. S&H Systems Services, Inc., provided the Saturday
lunch. THANKS TO ALL WHO ATTENDED! 12 GaugeThe 12 gauge event was captured with a 98 by David "D-Lee" Lee. Geoffery "Dark Side" Peters anted up a 97 for Runner Up and a 97 earned Robert "Bobby-Vee" Vazquez the Third Place award. Class Champions were Andre Williams, Jason Tresslar and Rocky Long. Congrats to all! In addition to the tangible prizes awarded, one "Attaboy is hereby awarded to each winner. 20 GaugeThe 20 gauge
event was captured with a 98 by David "D-Lee" Lee. Wait, didn't I just say that?
Oh, AGAIN he wins with a 98! Andre "A-Will" Williams anted up a 97 for
Runner Up and Steve Haynie edged out Robert "Bobby-Vee" Vazquez for the Third
Place award. Class Champions were Robert Vazquez and Craig Priest. 28 GaugeTalk about Deja Vu all over again...The 28 gauge event was captured with a 98 by Andre "A-Will" Williams, another winner wins with a 98! David "D-Lee" Lee anted up another 98 for Runner Up and Geoffery "Dark Side" Peters 95 edged out Jason "JT" Tresslar for the Third Place award. Class Champions were Jason Tresslar, Antonino Cicchirillo and Craig Priest. AND...Another "Attaboy" each is awarded to each winner! 410 BoreJason "JT" Tresslar pulled out his
trusty .410 and blasted a 96 to take Gun Champ. Wow, nice shooting Jason. Once
again A-Will and D-Lee captured awards, this time Runner Up and Third,
respectively. Doubles Every once in a while you just have to get lucky, and they say it's better Lucky than Good. Running the first box and getting a good start in the second box was the luck needed by Steve Haynie to take Gun Champ with a 47. A 45 took Runner Up for Andre Williams and Doubles Specialist Rocky Long took 3rd with a 42. Class Honors were won by Jason Tresslar and Craig Priest. One more handful of "Attaboys" to each! HOA The HOA title was captured by "A-Will"
Andre Williams, with "D-Lee" right behind at Runner Up and Jason "JT" Tresslar
at Third. OTHER INFO The
Skeet Program at Markham Park needs a new leader. I will not be the Skeet Chairman at Markham for the next Skeet year, 2009-2010, but I do not intend to abandon the skeet shooters for the shoots I have already scheduled this skeet year (2008-2009). I intend to assist a transition. If a replacement is located quickly I will step aside as Skeet Chairman when they are ready, but in any event I will not schedule shoots for the next “skeet year” nor run any shoots after October, 2009. A replacement should be selected by May if possible to allow transition and scheduling of next years shoots. It has been fun at times to help with the shoots, but I must
step aside for some new blood in the program. A replacement is needed as soon as
possible. My personal life and work load really makes it impossible for me to
continue to fill the role of Skeet Chairman after the current skeet year (which
ends with our October 2009 shoot). I still may have to cancel some tournaments
due to conflicts unless a rapid transition is made to a new "leader", but I will
try to make sure all events are run as presently scheduled. It's time to step
up, is it in you? Click Events Below to see Complete Event Results in PDF format
