Dave Knapp is remembered with this shoot each year, and now it is the
Markham Skeet Club Championship to honor and remember Dave and his
contributions.
This shoot was open to all shooters for the usual
"honors" for Class and Gun Champion, as well as HOA.
We awarded 20
gauge ammo as awards.
8400 targets were registered by 23 shooters during the two day event.
The rain really hurt our turnout, and at least 4 shooters actually arrived
at the park, but left without shooting due to the weather.
Those
shooters would have put us over 10,000 for the event for sure.
CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION
Members and Life Members of the Markham
Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clays Club were eligible to enter the Club
Championship event. We had 6 new members join at this event to be
eligible. This was a 4 gun, classified event. Awards for
Club Champs are in addition to the awards above.
Club Championship Awards were made to HOA and class champions.
High Over All among the entrants, Mark O'Mara,
was awarded an NSSA HOA CLUB CHAMPION patch,
and an official embroidered NSSA logo Polo Shirt, custom embroidered
with
"Markham Skeet 2004 Club HOA Champion "

and his name.
The NSSA Official Logo Polo Shirts can be seen in your Skeet Shooting
Review, November 2003 issue, and are the perfect compliment to the NSSA
Logo hats we gave away last month. Delivery will be (hopefully) at
our March 6 & 7th shoot.
CLASSIFICATION: Each entered shooter was classified
based on the sum of the numerical average score in each gun, as of the
last reclassification, divided by 4. That result was classified
according to the NSSA HOA tables defined in Sec. V-E-4 of the 2004 Rule
Book page 67. All NSSA rules applied to classification.
Club Class Champions were awarded an official
embroidered NSSA logo Polo Shirt, custom embroidered with
"Markham Skeet 2004 Club Class Champion "

THANKS!
Mark O'Mara, Martha and Mike, and Mark's father all put forth a tremendous
effort to provide lunches both days of the shoot. A terrific job

Domino's!
Thanks also to Steven Sagal and Gary Stoye, and all the folks who
helped with the administrative and operational issues during this shoot.
