The  OCTOBER OPEN
October 4th & 5th, 2003 Is Complete.

We had 14 shooters shoot 3800 targets over the two day shoot.  The elements cooperated with beautiful weather, though it did get a bit windy on Sunday afternoon.  Sarv Khandhari did a terrific job of handling lunch on Saturday (we hope you elect to help us again!), and on Sunday we served gourmet Domino's Pizza in 5 flavors!  The spirit of "volunteerism" has been ignited by Sarv's efforts - we have received an offer to handle lunch on Sunday of November's shoot as well as a tentative offer of lunch for both days of the December shoot.  Check for updates on the information pages for those shoots.  Thanks again to all who helped make this a successful shoot!

RESULTS

Steve Haynie won his first ever HOA title in spite of problems with his 12 gauge score.  
Glen Rieske ended up as Runner Up and Albert Owler was close behind in 3rd to close out the 4 gun shooters.  
Megan Guernsey took Lady Champion honors, and her dad, Allan Guernsey, took Gun Champion in 12 and .410.
Tie-breakers on long run were needed to decide the Gun Champions in 20 and 28 gauge.  
Steve Haynie needed both tie-breakers to win the 20 ga. over Eddy Rojas with 97's.
 Glen Rieske had a long run that took 28 ga. over Steve Haynie and Albert Owler, all with 96's.
Eddy Rojas once again was Doubles Champ, with Howard Sherman as Runner Up.

Steve Haynie : .410 C1, Doubles B1
Glen Rieske : 20 A1
Albert Owler : 12 A1, 28 B1
Tony Cicchirillo : 12 C1, 20 C1
Eddy Rojas : 12 B1
Steven Sagal : 12 E1, 28 D1
AND
Lunch Chairman of the Day, Sarvinder Kandhari was 20 D1 and 28 C1!
