Worldwide Communications Open 2006

Chuck Fohlbrook captured the HOA title at the Worldwide Communications Open 2006 April 1st & 2nd, 2006 at Markham Park. His 381 bested Chuck Farnham's 379 and Glen Rieske's 367.

In addition, the Chucks both had a good day in the door prize drawings. Chuck Farnham took the 2nd prize and Chuck Fohlbrook took third. In a weird twist, the ticket drawn for first was a returned ticket from Mark O'Mara, and Steve Haynie was the beneficiary of the redraw for first. Thanks to Worldwide for lunch both days that enabled the door prize drawings.

12 Gauge
Harvey Zipkin won Gun Champ with a 99 in 12 gauge, with Chuck Farnham and Michael Baranet taking runner up and third with 95's. Class Champs were Chuck Fohlbrook, Steve Haynie and Kevin O'Mara.

20 Gauge
20 gauge was David Lee at 98 winning the tie-breaker with Chuck Farnham also at 98 and David Winkley took 3rd with a 97. Class Champs were Harvey Zipkin, Eddy Rojas, Michael Baranet, Steve Sagal and Rick DeAngelis.

.28 Gauge
Chuck Fohlbrook took the 28 Gauge Championship, topping Glen Rieske and Michael Baranet. Class Champs included Chuck Farnham, Howard Chin, Tony Cicchirillo and Steve Sagal.

410 Bore
Tied for the HOA lead going into the little gun, Chuck Fohlbrook clinched not only the Gun Championship, but HOA with his 95, besting Runner-Up Chuck Farnham's 93 and Tony Cicchirillo's 92. Class Champs were David Winkley, Tom Keipert, and Steve Sagal, who has suddenly become a .410 terror. Way to go guys.

While many shooters were confined to "involuntary sandbagging", these shooters deserve a "well done" for these performances considering the gusting winds and changing light.

Steve Sagal's Worldwide Communications hosted this shoot providing lunch both days including sub sandwiches and fried chicken. I am sure all the participants hope that Steve will act as lunch chairman again real soon! Can you say "ANYTHING but pizza"?
